Driving under the influence of alcohol (2 ^ Parte)
DECREE-LAW June 20, 2002, No 121 (OJ No 144, 21/06/2002) urgent measures to ensure safety on the road.
Decree Law in force since 22/06/2002 lowers the threshold of blood alcohol concentration of 0.5 g / l.
LAW August 1, 2002, No 168 (OJ No 183, 06/08/2002) into law, with amendments, Decree-Law of 20 June 2002, n. 121, adopting urgent measures to ensure safety on the road.
By converse into law by August 7, 2002, in force since August 7, 2002, the blood-alcohol rate is lowered to 0.5 g / l. This value is specified in the text of Article .186 but does not change in the implementing regulation.

The jurisdiction of the offense, from 1 January 2002 was the Justice of the Peace (Legislative Decree 274/00), is now attached to the court in the conversion law. The old paragraph

Il rifiuto dell’accertamento nelle modalità previste dai commi 3,4 e 5 è punito con le stesse sanzioni previste per la guida in stato di ebbrezza.
